Let’s be honest, Valentine’s Day sucks, it really does, unless you’re in a relationship that is. If you’re in a relationship, then it’s a great time to show love to your partner and be loved by your partner.
Now if you’re single, you’ll probably be spending the day alone and thanks to the internet, you’ll be able to see everything couples do for each other on this special day.
Anyway, Valentine’s Day is 3 days away, and instead of talking about what won’t happen, here’s a list of all the things I want. Will I get them? Maybe not, but there’s nothing wrong with putting it out there. You never know who is listening 😉.
I’m going to start with the simple stuff, you know those things I could get for myself if I had to, but I deserve a gift this year, and you do too.
First of all, I would like some new clothes, bags and shoes. My wardrobe is desperately crying out for a revamp. How am I going to meet my Prince Charming if I don’t even have hot outfits for dates?
This Valentine’s Day, I want all the clothes, all the bags and all the shoes. So I can go on all the dates, kiss all the frogs and meet the one.
We’re one month into the new year, and I am done with my outdated iPhone. I’m going to need the latest iPhone. I need to upgrade my phone, so I can take better pictures and slay like the Queen I am.
Who knows? Better pictures could mean meeting better men🤷🏽♀️.
I’m also going to need an Apple Watch and Airpods to go with that phone. I deserve the very best, and nothing spells best like new gadgets.
I would also like to get an apartment. It would be nice to have my own space for once, a home that I call my own, no roommates, no noise, just peace. It would be even better if the room came fully furnished to my tastes. Is anyone listening? 👀
I need a vacation. This isn’t a want; it is a necessity. If I don’t get an all-expenses-paid vacation to an island this year, I might explode. Everything about life is designed to stress me out and I deserve some time to let my hair down and chill so I’m going to need someone to send me plane tickets and a trip itinerary. Thank you.
So, I’m going to ask for one last thing and this is probably the hardest. I want a partner. Let me be honest; I need a partner. I’m bored, lonely and quite simply tired of doing it on my own. Being a single girl is fun and all, but it has a shelf life and my single days have reached their shelf life.
I would love to wake up on Valentine’s Day with the right man sleeping peacefully beside me. Is that too much to ask?
